Totally unofficial jam :)
I had this simple 2 chord riff going for a while now. I thought it might make for a good basicbacking for a jam. If any of you want to add to it please be my guest. From 1:42 onwards it may as well be a free for all.
Oh and it is a biggish file because I have included 6 minutes of space for ad libs. file size is ~7MB

Re: Totally unofficial jam :)
Suggestion: Break it down in pieces so people can claim spots, then set up how or who you want to mix. It will go much smoother that way

Good idea EJ
VHfans method of aligning files would be good for starters. http://www.guitars101.com/boards/sho.../o/all/fpart/1
and the slots might as well be long ish because it is sounds so laid back. So how about
Slot 1 01:44-03:04
Slot 2 03:04-04:24
Slot 3 04:24-05:44
Slot 4 05:44-07:04
Slot 5 07:04- end.
That is the best I can think of for now. Lets see if there are any takers

I'll take slot 1 if you want while I wait for jam 2 to be complete.

Re: Totally unofficial jam :)
I'll take the end slot 7:04-End How long do we have? Obviously at least a few days until we get the rest of the slots filled

Re: Totally unofficial jam :)
Who is going to mix down the final guitar slots? Where would we email the mp3's to? I like the very clean drum track and professional sound quality.

Re: Totally unofficial jam :)
I appear to have a problem receiving large emails (since freeserve was taken over by wanadoo) so can you save a couple of bars of the backing music and a space of about a second the just before the solo.
cheers

You need to get a guitars101 email address with a 10M attachment limit.
