@@ Please Help.....audio recording computer EQ program

I recorded a live show using a digital recorder and would like to boost the levels and also EQ the entire show to make it sound even better.

Can anyone suggest a good free program that can be downloaded and also provide me with some simple instructions to be able to boost levels and EQ.

Thank you very much.

Sorry cant help with a good free eqthough most Daws have a pretty decent eq in them. I have fpound when recording live stuff the most dramatic improvement is when you start cutting the middle out around 500hz.

I use Audacity 1.26 for recording/editing, probs the best recording software thats free... there's a pretty decent EQ on it, as well as lots of other editing tools etc.
