a little help please - Guitars101

ok i have a couple of issues. i am taking midi files and importing them into nuendo, and using a vst instruments to play the selected track. for bass i am using steinberg virtual bass. is there a better program then this. also how do i add the 4 count at the begining and the click track while no drums and bass are playing. i am trying to do breaking benjamin so cold. i have dled some backing tracks off here that have no 4 count, and that confuses ya. for instance change in the house of lflies and other songs that start with the guitar. thanks in advance. also pod_god i sent you a message saying i would host your tutorial. let me know if you need it.
