Question

Behringer V-amp-pro problems

This might be a silly question for you pro's but im genuinely struggling. I've been playing electric guitar for a few months now and thought it was time to get some effects so i went out and bought a behringer v-amp-pro. I was thinking that i'd just plug my guitar into the v amp pro and that into my amplifier, right? Ive been messing with all the connections and buttons/knobs for a few days now and cant get anything. Ive managed to get the sound through to the amp but i cant do anything with it like choose an amp or any effects or even turn the volume up. If anyone has the v amp pro, and could just give me a bit of info on how to connect it all up + choose an amp and effects it would be greatly appreciated. The manual is an absolute joke, i cant make any sense of it. It has info and details on the thing but no actual guidelines.

If you bought it at a music store they should be able to help you get it going.

Have you tried downloading the software for it and changed patches via midi. I've had a similar thing happen once but it seemed to be OK after I tried that.
