BT creators.....HELP, I'm in need of some advise

I got lucky on my first attempt creating a BT from a midi, it came out pretty nice(at least I thought so),but thats where my luck seems to have ended [img]images/smilies/icon_ball.gif[/img] most of the midi files i've found since arent too accurate....i've been trying to make the corrections and I seem to be making progress but this is taking forever....while making corrections,i throw off the timing...the clock in FL dosent run at the same rate as the timer on my CDplayer,media player,ect....the only solution i have come up with is to listen to the original recording with a stopwatch and do it again with the BT i'm trying to create..... [img]images/smilies/headscratch.gif[/img] any sugestions or tips would be greatly appericated
