Yes it's an older program, but I still use it cos it does what I want. Until lately. It seems anything I record plays back with massive skipping CD type effects. Is this because of running it on Windows XP or is my hard drive pooping out? Anywon have any good answers?

Do you hear clicks when it skips? If so, the audio buffers need to be bigger. You could also try defragging your hard disk. I notice that when I don't defrag for a long time, I have all sorts of problems.

i use the same program on windows 98 and it always works great..but then i installed kristal audio and now both progames have lag time when you double track ..im not sure why,,if any one has any skills on fixing this prob ..that would be very help full.....
