Crackle Sound...

if you listen to any of my recordings youll notice that there is a crackle or pop sound at the start it. Just wondering...who the hell do i get rid of it? its becoming something of a bad ID!

It's a cool edit thing .. you'll see some of my recordings do the same thing ... i think it's because you edit the start of the tracks or something .. a way to fix it i've found is to insert and record about 2/3 seconds of nothing at the beginning .. that usually fixes it ..i think it was eric who informed me of that. .and has pretty much worked a charm since !

That happens when the sound wave does not start (or end) exactly on the zero line. There is an option on the program to make it automatically do that....if you can't find it, PM me and I'll look for it.

Edit...just heard your Vai cover...that's not it. Simply cut that out of the final mixdown.

ohh ok...but if i cut it out then i will lose the start of the song...?? correct?
