Cubase SX Question....Please Help


I have a question. i am trying the wasp effect. it isnt working right in realtime.......i hit the string then like a second later i hear the effect...there is a delay.....is there anyway to get rid of the delay? please help how to get rid of the delay on effects? I'll try it when I get home. Realtime effects, just so you know, requires mucho horsepower in both CPU and MEM. If you aren't pumping at least 1GB ram and a 2.0Ghz cpu, stick to freezing then applying them.
