Acid seems to be the popular one for loops. But any other program that allows you to work with loops will work to. Cakewalk, Cubase, etc.

Guys, I got nearly 4GB of good quality drum loops now. I need to go and really take a peak at whether I have stuff twice or whatever but I gotta say use a P2P program to find this stuff. I use dc++ and there is a shitload.

I would be dead in the water without drum loops. Midi is a four letter word for me. Well maybe you too LOL!!

I use Smart Loops Pro Drum Works. Love them. I know everyone has their favorite brand this is just what I use and it works for me.

drum loops are wonderful. I just wish they would come in channels. then you could comp the bass, eq the snare and add a little reverb, pull down the hats a little and pan the cymbals.

Midi is fun though. a good sample to midi program and you are in heaven.

does anyone have drum midi files that they could either post or send a link to? i allways program my drums from scratch with dfhs but i miss just having presets to jam to whilst inbetween writing. there must be a website somewhere with the good stuff but all ive found so far is a few poorly programed midi files
