Guitar port \"Help\"


i'm using my guitar port via USB to my PC using Cubase VST..when i record any guitar tracks they don't play back thru my PC speaker set up ...They play back thru my guitar port audio output to a local stereo system!....any one got any ideas how to get my guitar track coming out with the backing on the PC?..it sounds weird as hell!..any help would be appreciated!..Cheers Mac [img]images/smilies/headscratch.gif[/img]

Not sure whether this'll be the reason but when I use Cakewalk, you have to make sure the input and output is selected for the POD...or GP for yourself. There should be a settings menu where you can select what the output you'd like.

You can only record your guitar through the GuitarPort software. It's set up that way so people don't copy their backings from GPO. Of course, you can get around this by running from the headphone out of the GP to the Line In on your soundcard and recording from that....but, I didn't say that [img]images/smilies/whistling2.gif[/img]
