HELP!!! COOLEDIT CRASH!!!!

I spent a couple of hours recording in cooledit, and I had several edits going at once. I was trying to use a directx plugin and cooledit crashed. It shows a bunch of files in my temp folder,but it portrays them all as 0 bytes - canI recover the takes somehow, or am I screwed????- It was going to be my rocktober contest entry, and NOW ITS GONE!!- help someone PLEASE!!!

You should be able to restart Cool Edit and it will ask you if you want to continue. Hopefully you won't be fucked [img]images/smilies/icon_thumb.gif[/img]

i tried that- it asked me then crashed again- after that nothing......

I save constantly in cool edit due to previous crashes. but EJ as usual, is right. it should let you continue on restart. Ej... the 101 answerman. lol

I agree with you both....Cool Edit does crash and usually saves things in a temp buffer.

Sounds like you may be screwed.
