for some reason when i try to record on a track that already has a few recordings on it, when i click record it refuses to create a new recording, i have to change to a completely new track with nothing on it, which can be very frustrating and hard to handle. anyone know why????
i think it is that there is a recording already on the track that is after the spot i am trying to record on, i think its trying to catch up to the after recording but it has to wait till it reaches it....if that makes sense
You need to make sure the window to the far left that shows the names of the tracks in opened up. Then you need to select the track and hit the delete key (in that window). Otherwise you have the problem you are experiencing.
Hit "View" "Organizer window" if you don't see it.
Are you saying you want several short clips on the same track?
If so they will be labled "track 2-1, 2-2,2-3 etc." and if any of those tracks overlaped on the time you want your new clip in the track....it won't work right.
I would avoid doing that...it makes it a pain in the ass to work on and if you change a global setting it affects all clips in the track.
You have 128 tracks......just use all on them.
Sounds like you are finally recording at home.
