Re: Line 6 Editor
Great link, Eric.
Looks like I will have upgrade my system to OSX to benefit from it. It's time for an upgrade anyway...

Re: Line 6 Editor
Are you using Guitar Port software with your POD? If so you can still post and play with the .gpt files.

Re: Line 6 Editor
It's funny I can never transfer the freaking tones via USB to my Pod. I can always pull up the patch settings, but then I manually have to make the changes on my Pod, and the edit program sees me making changes. But it always says my Pod is disconnected. It's so weird.

Re: Line 6 Editor
I'm a LUDDITE with this stuff (look it up!). I still can't get the editor to work because of some stupid Java runtime error. Have downloaded Java's newest version, downloaded the software from Line6 but no joy. Looks like I'm stuck with the Gary Moore tone from hell for the next 5 years!

Re: Line 6 Editor
Eric, you're a fucking GENIUS! It's up and running. SO, do I now have to put midi cables thru or will it download patches via the USB? Does it store them in a folder or can you only upload them to the POD? I'm like a fuckin' 5 year old now with a new toy!!! THANK YOU ERIC!

Re: Line 6 Editor
No midi cables necessary, it's all done through USB. Make sure the POD is on and open up the Line 6 Editor and it should talk to it, if not you may have to set it up in preferences or something but it should automatically find it. Then start tweaking your settings and go dude! It will save them to a subdirectory in the direcotry the editor is in. When you find a tone you like just go to the File menu and choose Save or Save as

Re: Line 6 Editor
Lud"dite, n. A person afraid of technology. A nincompoop. A complete dud when it comes to putting his leads in the correct inputs/outputs of his 5150 and rack. A man who can't wire a plug. A person who lets his wife check the oil in the car.
