Midi to Wav backing tracks?

O.k. I'me stuck. How do you convert a midi backing track to wav form. I'm using Cool Edit. Are there other options to adding guitar to these (8-bit mu-Law Compressed) BT's with out having to jump through mager hoops?
My Fiance' is away and I wanted to crank this thing out befor she got back

Re: Midi to Wav backing tracks?

Did the google search and installed several programs which in the end only (trial version) gave me 10-60 seconds of the file. Man cool edit has nothing to convert these files, hmmmm....
