Need a new Wav to mp3 encoder/decoder

My Yamp free trial expired and I'm a cheap ass so does anyone know of a good free encoder that won't infect my computer with spyware and shut it down?????

Yesterday I went to mthreedev.com and downloaded their free encoder and HOLY CRAP my computer locked up, shut down on its own and when I fired it back up, ran spyware blaster and found 27 spyware bugs, I removed them, restarted and it still wouldn't act right. I had to run System Restore to a previous date and for now it works ok.......geez!

Anyone have a good one? I'm helpless to record without one.

Thanks alot!!!!!!

Re: Need a new Wav to mp3 encoder/decoder

I use musicmatch to rip my cds to mp3s. I haven't used the encode / decode. However, the ripping aspect of the software is real easy to use !!! Intuitive and everyhing, and it works like a breeze !!!

If the encoding / decoding part of it is as good, then I would highly recommend it !!!
