Recording Input Advice Needed!

I need a better solution! I use these 1/4" mono to 1/8" stereo adapters to plug the output of my POD 2.3 into my soundcard and they never last!!! The weight of the cable plugged into the adapter always wears out the adapter. I'm so sick of buying these things...they're cheap but there's gotta be a better way! Any suggestions???

either use a strain relief or just use a stereo 1/8th cable if thats possible. the cables are readily available from alot of discount electronic and even some department stores. Also your local guitar shop may carry them. We do.

you can try buying the one with the double head on it it will give you more support even though you only need one of them to plug into.. just a suggestion

i use a 1/8 cable.. one end into my soundcard the other end converted to a 1/4 inch jack and into my boss ds-1..

I have to agree with the cable theory....a trip to radio Shack will solve your problem.

No it doesn't, the XT does though...someday, I'll be able to afford an upgrade, lol. I bought a 1/8" cable at Radio Shack. That did the trick [img]images/smilies/icon_thumb.gif[/img]
