Im still hooked on VST , i know i should move on but i cannot detect the audio benefits im told exist in SX , I must be doing something wrong
I like the features of sx 3. it has acid support and allows you to edit midi on the main page, making easy to sync up drums and bass. trouble is I am still saving for the bugger

Multi-track recorders:
NTrack (around $70),
Massiwa,
ASIA (free)
Modern multi-inputs sound cards have as a rule something to record/mix
on a companion CD, so, if you have multi-inputs sound card you have all you want.
I am working with Cubase SX, Reason and enough VST's and Reason stuff(like Grand Piano, Symphony of voices etc.).
the thing I would like to ask is : is there any programm that can record at least 24 audio channels, supports VST's and rewire function?I want to end this whole cubase thing on my pc...too many crashes

Software to split midi drum track into invidual instruments
Anyone know of some software that can do this? I know of gnmidi but there's got to be something free out there. This can be done via copy and paste but that is a MAJOR hassle.
Also, just a note...Cakewalk Guitar Tracks Prodoes not support midi.
As far as I know audacity is not a multi channel audio recorder. Just a tool to cut out commercials from sound files recorded from internet radio stations.
