[Request] Basic Fruity Loops drum tutorial

I have FL but haven't been able to come up with much as far as making drum tracks. I also don't have the sound fonts CD but it looks like I can get some on the net. It would be great to have an easy to follow beginners tutorial that covered just the basics of making a drum track.

I don't use a midi keyboard although I know it's a good idea. I have played with the drums in there by just doing things manually but I know there must be an easier way to automate it.

Re: [Request] Basic Fruity Loops drum tutorial

The only way to record drums in fruity is to use the step sequencer. Its a total PAIN in the ass but it works. What i usually do is d/l a midi with the beat im looking for and copy and paste the midi i want. Ill get to this. Gimme a few days and ill have it ready for you guy.

Help arming a channel for guitar in Fruityloops

Hi

I've just got Fruityloops 4.5 and an M Audio Mobile Pre USB. I can hear my guitar through the monitor speakers as well as the beats through the sequencer. But I can't work out how to arm a channel so that I can record my guitar??!!

Can anyone help?

ah yes fl studio 5.0 rules. when writing your own drum tracks you just have to write everything in the piano roll. it even has numbers on the bars.
i usually write out my entire drums track as a i go through an original song. if you use copy, paste, and all the tools it will save you alot of trouble. then i take it a step farther and separate the drum parts, one into each track...just like they do in a studio. eq, pan, reverb, whatever i want to do to what part of the drums set. thats the only way to get it right.

we need a good drum tutorial or just a tutorial in general on how to use fruity loops.....theres alot more in fruity loops you can use..tons of effects and samples.

Matt, producer edition is worth EVERY penny. FL Studio is an indispensible app. Gotta love the FREE, LIFETIME upgrades too.

What's wrong with the Tutorial that's in the BT section?

And this thread is 1-2 years old.
