Shure Beta 57A

Just before it began to snow like a mofo here, I took a spin over to GC and picked up a spankin' new Shure Beta 57. I needed a good "all 'round" mic and this one will do just fine. I was going to go with the old favorite SM57 but I needed something rated a bit better for vocals too. I was farting with it before but won't have time to get to really bang it out til the end of the week. Just curious if any of y'all have ever used this particular model and what results you have gotten with it [img]images/smilies/icon_jam.gif[/img]

I have not heard anything about the beta 57's, last think I read on harmony-central.com but I have the 57's and they do juat about anything you ask...love em and they are cheap enough to mike your rig in on and off-axis with 2.
