Sonar 5 and Guitar Rig 2 trouble

This is stupid perhaps, and I've been out of recording for a coupld of years, so just give me a quick help out perhaps.

I'm using Sonar 5 and want to use Guitar Rig 2 for some sounds. Problem is, I add guitar rig as a VST in the effects box and when the guitar rig vst box opens up, it's really small and I can't do anything in it. I've tried expanding, maximizing, stretching the box to no avail. WTF?

What did I do wrong?

Me, I like guitar. I like loud squeals and pinch harmonics that only dogs can hear, tapping that would redefine what Fred Astaire popularized, sweeping that would make a janitor jealous, and most importantly great melodic HOOKS (like the greatest hook writers of all time Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson). Singing is not a requirement.

Hmmm, I have not had that happen yet, Knock on wood.
Flet, I would recommend that you log in at the cakewalk sonar forum.
some times I find the odd sonar vst install hang-up or quirk solution over there and if you do please come back and let us know.
Hmm, sounds like a icon setting in options
