Tape to PC Help !!

Anyone give me a bit of a hand here!!! Got some stuff id like to put up as my 1st musical post but its on tape, How do i get it onto my PC?

it depends on what soundcard you got. If you have got a soundcard with AUX inputs on you should be able to hook it up with your hi-fi and use something like Sound Forge to record it in the pc.

If you have the right cables and accessories, I use Goldwave. It's free and it works great for this. You can reduce tape hiss and eq it quite nicely. www.goldwave.com

I run from my home stereo headphones out to the line in on my pc. Cool Edit does a great job of recording it with tons of filters to take out any noise .

Like VM, I also use GoldWave for this. The noise reduction features are perfect for this type of work!
