Toneport GX - Had no idea

I had no idea that I could hook up a distortion pedal between my guitar and the toneport gx and use the "no amp" setting in gearbox (included software) but pick a 4X12 cabinet to use and use all the effects pedals in the software and record with the pedal.

I wish I wouldn't have gotten rid of my Metal Zone pedal now. I tried it out with a Death Metal pedal (horrible) that I had in my stash and it doesn't sound too bad recording.

Had no idea this could be done.
