Vocals through Guitar Port? Really?

I heard this would work? A friend of mine wants to bring his mixer and mics over to lay down some vocal tracks over my covers and all I have is GPort. I have no idea how to get vocals into cakewalk with it. If its possible, and GPort only has Guitar amp modellers and pedal effects.....how does it work? if you have clean settings on it it would work fine I imagine

It's just an input Riff...I did vocals on my XT and they weren't brilliant but that was more the mic. Start with a clean setting or make one that has nothing but volume-Line6 clean or similar. Then you'll want to beef it up and add 'verb or whatever...shouldn't be a problem.

It works through the PODxt too, I did it for a buddy of mine and it didn't come out bad at all. [img]images/smilies/icon_eek.gif[/img] [img]images/smilies/icon_thumb.gif[/img]
