I'm looking for some help/advice before I buy a 2x12 cab. I've looked at marshall, mesa, carvin, and crate. I'm taking a day next week to go try some out, but I've always played through combos so don't feel to confident going out and buying one without some more info. I'm doing some gigs with a band that plays a wide range of music. I know we'll be doing some
steve vai and buckethead covers, a hendrix cover, and then some original stuff. I'm borrowing a mesa duel rectifier from a friend, but I need to get a cab within a week or so. Any suggestions or advice?
