That's happened to me a couple times. It only does it when I hook up my amp to a certain outlet. Why it does it I don't know!

can happen quite a bit this, If i plug my amp into an electrical outlet on the north side of the building I pick up the Local FM radio the outlet/wall combination acts as an antenna, strange thing is I get a better reception through it than i do through the stereo!!!!

You're complaining now
Back in the days we had radio all the time, Luxemburg, Russian stuff, all kinds of other channels, you could change channels by turning the volumeknob...

Thanks and an update
Thanks for your replies. Thought I would update for future reference.
I did some digging, making sure it was grounded well and sure enough, one of the patch cables I had made had it's ground come loose, so I just switched out the cable and the Bangkok weather channel has disappeared.
I noticed that the Tube Screamer does it's job, it was actully boosting the bad signal since it did not know any different.

Sounds travel, but this was rediculous...
I play with a guitarist that makes me sound good. He took lessons from our friend Steve Lynch (Best known in the band Autograph), But it didn't help much...Anyways, he uses some lame chordless gizmo that always cracks and buzzes and fries 9 volt batteries. One night, We were done playing, and he set his guitar on a stand by his amp, and we were sitting around the wet bar shooting the shit, when his amp started to pick up some interference or noise. Then, It started to play music. The funny thing was, it was playing, (and I swear we all freaked), note for note, this lame -ass solo from a song we had just finished about 3 minutes prior. We all looked at each other with a "NO F'n Way" look, but there it was, like Linda blairing out of his marshall stack. I went over and turned off the power, we then talked about excersism for awhile, and went home.

That's hilarious, good story!
