Don't know how many GuitarPOD users know this:
These POD XT Settings will work on the guitar port. You just have to save them in the same tone folder your Guitar port uses, "Associate/Open with" them with the GuitarPORT Exe. When you select them from the tone library in GuitarPort trys to load them and recognises that some of the amps and effects don't match, you then get the chance to adjust the effect to find the best match. Not perfect but it works with some tweaking. I was able to load a Vai tone that sounds just like "Big Trouble" with no tweaks. The VH ones had way too much echo, but with a little tweak ended up with quite a passable " Drop Dead Legs".
If anyone with a GuitarPort is interested I'll load them back here as .gpt files.

Please do, sir! I've tried many a patch from the Custom Tone website...have to save them by changing the extension to .gpt instead of .l6t. Pass 'em on!

Killer Guitar Port Tones
Here's a couple of tones I got from a buddy at the Sonoma Works RiffCaster site. Mainly just a Soldano 100 with a Tube Screamer and some delay...you'll be amazed how good these patches sound for the minimal amount of effects...Less is def more with these!

GP tones
Took down my other zip folder of tones from a month or two back, as I've added quite a few. Here they be! Feedback is greatly appreciated!

Hey Ober... The guys tell me you can rename l6t (PodXT file) to gpt (Guitarport File) so it should be backwardly compatible.
Anyway, even if it doesn't work...you'll have more than enough tones to try out from the POD users here.

Anyone have any Pod 2.0 patches?
I'm not rich enough to get a PodXT yet, so I have to make due with the 2.0. Anybody have any of those tones available? I've already gone through customtone.com's 2.0 patches.
