I have one...and a lot of people around here use them. Check out mine and EJ's song in the monthly contest this month "Electric Chair" It was done 100% with V-amps.

Re: behringer v amp 2
Just out of curiousity scott......... what kinda amp were you using live? And did you just run the v-amp through the front of the amp? And what was your amps EQ set to?

Re: behringer v amp 2
I actually got mine from VHfan, and I love it. My recordings sound so much better with the VAmp than ever before. On stage I use a Marshall 50 watt half stack. I'm not much into effects on stage except a Phaser and Cry Baby, but the VAmp's recording capabilities are what I primarily use it for

Re: behringer v amp 2
I used my Fender twin amp,, and ran mine stright into front of the amp..I set my bass to about 4,, treble about 5 ,, mid set to 2 or 3,, and presence was up,,, and changed the cabinet settings to my desireable sound,, and had really dam good sound.. when i was jamming with the last band i was in,, tried my korg,, zoom ,, and some other pedals,, and the behringer did the trick for me.

Dude. You can't go wrong at that price. I have one and a POD XT..both have their strong points...through an amp, it gives a one channel amp another dimention with the footswitch...It's a worthy deal...not the best jack of all trades, but it is worth every bit of the money.

Re: behringer v amp 2
u mean the v amp? there is an adapter included if u buy it and laptops do have soundcards ( if u want to use it for recording offcourse bc for editing u will need midi ( joystick input on ur computer and a midi cable will do the job)

Re: behringer v amp 2
laptopdo have soundcards. but they are inside the com. cant connect direct. whereas, is there a way such as i can use a cable converter instead? not sure thought. the only ports on my com are the usb, mic in, mic out and the printer ports.
