cabinets: 5150 vs. Marshall\'s 1960
I'm using 5150 straight with 1960 slant on a JCM900 dual reverb..
1. anybody has ever used a similar setup (two different cabinets)???
2. i have noticed a big big difference in sound (and weight.. i can bring upstairs alone the marshall while i can't lift the 5150)?
the marshall have more bass, while the 5150 seems more balanced, more neutral, and i love it...
BUT the marshall seems louder than peavey.. i think it's about the more bass thing...
any similar experience??
Both cabinets are working fine and in perfect conditions
