Conecting pod to pc

Hey , i'm new here i'm wondering if someone can help me, i recently bought a POD XT and when i conect it to my pc via line in the sound comes ou mono, ive tried with adapters and stuff but it still comes mono.. any proper way to conect it to get a stereo output?
