rocknrolldork Local Artist Join Date: Mar 2005 Posts: 78	Fender Super Bassman Head/Dating Amps I had heard of the Bassman but I just bought a Super Bassman. The guy I bought it from said it was a 1968 but from what I've read they didn't make this head until 1969. Does anyone know how to date a CBS Fender head by the serial number? I have looked online and I have a weird serial number, a01611, and have yet to be able to get specifics on this.
