Finally got Marshall

I finally got Marshall MG100DFX [img]images/smilies/woot.gif[/img]
maybe it's not the best combo but i really liked it and wonder if you guys know any different, kick ass tones with it and could you tell me how to do ?

yeah thats a nice amp . one step up from the one i use lol (Marshall MG50dfx) . i use mine in conjunction with a Digitech RP100 so i really couldnt tell you where to place the knobs .. but i advise gain on full . bass on 5 contour on about 7 treble on 9 and dont bother with the effects lol . but turn the reverb knob up to about 7 or 8
thats what i used to do before i plugged in my RP100 [img]images/smilies/smile.gif[/img] .. should be a nice lead tone man [img]images/smilies/smile.gif[/img] good luck with it bro

Thats cool bro congrats, and have fun.

I got the MG50dfx. Very nice. I leave all the knobs the same, but change the contour knob as that gives a huge range of sounds. The effects can be good, if you dont have them on too loud. Reverb is good too.
