Well I love my line6 FM4 and MM4 pedals. The filter pedal gives you everything from mutron filters and swirly shit through to synth sounds, which is exactly what you need if your lokking for trippy. The mod pedal is 16 phasers, flangers, ring modulators etc. ect. Both of them are wicked and if I go with a minimal setup I drop all my other pedals before these two. I also put an expression pedal into their control input and you can morph between the four (each) selectable memories, giving you virtually eight effects settings on four different modes.
