Got a Pod today...

2.0 version. Anything special I should know? I did like the book says and set my Mids to max and bass/treble to zero, and I have it switched onto amp mode. Anything else? So far this thing is awesome, I'm loving it. I thought it would come with the cable to hook up to the computer since it came with the software, but it didn't. Can anybody do me a favor and give me some suggestions on how to get Eddie's FUCK/Poundcake tone? Thanks!

Hi there,

Congrats on your purchase. eric says it right, you've just got to tweak it. I have no idea how to advise, as I haven't figured mine out yet (I just get stuff from www.customtone.com). I couldn't see one for the F.U.C.K. tone though...

You'll love your new toy though !!!

Congrats on the purchase. I have the same unit as yours.
I never bothered with the software because it entailed getting a MIDI interface to connect to the computer. I fly mine by the seat of my pants and it has served me very well for the past 4 years.
The stock presets are not my preference.
Go to manual, select and amp and tweaktil you're blue in the face is my advice.

For the F.U.C.K. sond, strat with the MODERN HIGAIN amp, which is a Soldano. It's always worked well for me. You can also play by changing the cabinet type for different tone ranges by using the TAP button and turning the effects knnob to either of the 4x12 cabinet options.

Knock yoursefl out!

Re: Got a Pod today...

Thanks for the advice guys. So far, I'm loving it, but for some reason my Wah pedal doesn't sound very good when I use it. It's between the guitar and the pod, and when I put it after the Pod, it sounds worse. It's useable now, but it doesn't soon as good as it did without the pod. Any tips on that?
