help with mixing speaker types for a 4X12 cab

Im looking to mix up 2 greenback speakers with 2 other celestion speakers for added bass response. So far Im thinking about the G12H30 or the
G12T 100's to compliment the greenbacks. Anyone have any experience with these combinations in a 4x12 cab? It will be used with a modded marshall 1987x 50w plexi.

Cheers

A combination I like is the Celestion V30 with the G-12 75 watters.

Back in the 80's alot of the big guys were using a pair of greenbacks on top and a pair of electrovoice evm12's on the bottom. Some guys crossed them, that is the pairs loaded diagonally.

But remember when you do this, you'll probably want to mic each speaker in the studio or live. Sound guys will love you when you ask them to double mic your cab

Thanks - actually i hadnt even considered using two mics. In the end i went with 2xgreenbacks and 2xgh30's in an X pattern.
