just connect the VAmp to an input port such as a mic or game port, then plug in the VAmp. As for software, Cool Edit Pro or Cake Walk will work for you [img]images/smilies/icon_thumb.gif[/img]
and some of the backing tracks posted here and you are good to go...good luck mate!! note: you may have to adjust settings on Windows Sound Properties...(line in)..you will get the drift...
Oh...and on a laptop...I use one at work and it sounds crappy for sound...get some nice headphones to mix with...it makes a big difference...beware that laptop HD's are notoriously slow...
thanx alot guys for all the help, mucho appreciated. now i can record properly, once i get the equipment. just need some sorta cable to connect to laptop, from V-amp2.. and yeh, laptop speakers are pretty shit, but i bought myself some good speakers, to attach to laptop, and sounding loud n' good now.
