hook v-amp2 to laptop...


how do i combine my v-amp2 with my computer to record, and what software do i need>? [img]images/smilies/icon_mad.gif[/img]

just connect the VAmp to an input port such as a mic or game port, then plug in the VAmp. As for software, Cool Edit Pro or Cake Walk will work for you [img]images/smilies/icon_thumb.gif[/img]

and some of the backing tracks posted here and you are good to go...good luck mate!! note: you may have to adjust settings on Windows Sound Properties...(line in)..you will get the drift...

Oh...and on a laptop...I use one at work and it sounds crappy for sound...get some nice headphones to mix with...it makes a big difference...beware that laptop HD's are notoriously slow...

Remember the mic or line in is for the audio and the USB or game port is for MIDI control which is optional.

thanx alot guys for all the help, mucho appreciated. now i can record properly, once i get the equipment. just need some sorta cable to connect to laptop, from V-amp2.. and yeh, laptop speakers are pretty shit, but i bought myself some good speakers, to attach to laptop, and sounding loud n' good now.
