Max is an unknown quantity at this point
Trade?
you should upload a sample of your tone, I would like to hear how close you are.

If you want those backtracks you could put a request in the MCBT section, if you haven't already.

Record one, then go to "Post Reply" and click on the paper clip to attach your recording...

If EJ's tone could be gotten out of a $150 hand held processor, guys wouldn't be paying $3000 for Plexi 45's.

http://www.mojaveampworks.com/index.php?id=12,0,0,1,0,0

This is as close to EJ's tone as you can get without shelling out rediculous money for a real vintage marshall.

More clips of the amp here.

I'd still like to hear what you've got but just know that the above listed clips are what a real Plexi 45 sounds like and should be your reference tone for trying to do any type of simulation.

Just picked up a second hand Pandora PX4 so I will have a play over the Xmas period and let you know what I think of it.

Which particular EJ song was your tone based?

Cheers
Pete
