Re: J-Station patches???

I have looked high and low on the Internet for J-Station patches. Other than the Johnson amp site, there's not much. I finally got the J-Edit software working properly (had to pick up a USB MIDI port and a USB hub) and it's a blast.

I don't care for the J-Stations "High Gain" amp sounds, but I really like the Fender/Vox,etc sounds. I have a really good Bassman patch that breaks up really nice. Remember, the Bassman circuitry eventually evolved to become those vintage Marhalls that everyone loves.

Re: J-Station patches???

I use mainly one patch on the J-Station. It's a Blackface. I use it at church. I use a Duo Verb for my other gigs and recording. Just got a L6 DM4 stomp emulator. Haven't had much time to mess with it.
I'd post my J-Station patches, but they're all the stock patches with just a bit of tweaking of Bass/Mid/Treble/Drive. Nothing to write home about.

The blackface is really nice. I was just tellin my buddy that I would like to play that setting at church cause the acoustics there rock.

I havent hooked the thing up too my computer yet, but it's a blast playing so far. I like the rectified setting eventhough the gain can get quite hissy. If ya tweak it enough and add a dash of chorus you can get a good EVH tone from 95. I mainly use that, and the Brit Stack for the type of stuff I play.
