Just scored a FLEXTONE III combo on e-Bay!

I recently sold a Yamaha SY85 workstation that was taking up space and I never used it since I left the Alice Cooper tribute. Now I'm gonna do this duo with my mate Geordie, I knew the 5150 gear wasn't gonna be flexible enough to do blues, rock etc so I had a look on eBay and managed to get a brand spanking new Flextone III for £250! Gotta look for a floorboard now so I can get back into my WAHWAH playing![img]images/smilies/icon_lol.gif[/img] Never thought I'd get a mark III for that price and the good thing is that the floorboard can be used for the POD xt as well so double the versatility!

Yeah, I really missed the flextone's noiseless hiss but balls to the walls sound when needed. I'm not bitchin' on the 5150 but it's so all or nothing, it's untrue. For £250 I get a 60w combo with 32 amp models, 16 cabinet models, wah, volume pedal, 6 types of delay, 8 types of reverb, 3 types of phaser, 3 types of flanger, 6 types of chorus, ring modulator, auto-vibe, cab emulator, lesley effect, built in tuner, noise gate, compressor...and a kettle flex! They aren't cheap mate but I'll get one off eBAY for about £100. Don't forget that you get a tuner wah and volume pedal as well as being able to tap the time of the delay...the wah sounds superb. I can also use the pedal with my POD xt so it's a double whammy. [img]images/smilies/icon_thumb.gif[/img]

Yup, the Behringer does all that as well, but I s'pose it would be better with the proper floorboard. Best of luck with your hunt!!!
