Laney amps

Ok well first off: This is my first post on guitars101.com!
So, Hey everyone!
I'm a young guitarist, been playing for a few years now, got a Gibson Explorer Pro, a Jackson Kelly KE3 (with Dimarzio pups) and a Kramer Baretta which I've done up completely.
I play in two bands, both gig fairly regularly, and both usually get asked back for more, which is great fun
Big into 80's metal, and older rock.
Thats all really, so, on with the post!

So, I was wondering if anyone had sound clips of the Laney GH50L in action?
I've heard good things about it, and no shops around me stock it, so before i get too interested i thought i should hear some clips.
if you got any, that'd be good.

like, i want to hear its clean, crunch, hard rock, and then like all-out metal settings if you can.
my band plays an entirely original set, most of the stuff being heavily influenced by Deep Purple, Motley Crue, Dokken, Hammerfall, Pantera, Black Label Society and Dream Theatre, more so the 80's bands.

any sound clips? i went on laneyforum.com and they had some, but only two worked, the death one (which sounded...death) and a crunchy one, which was nice.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Wyldthrow5

Try going to www.youtube.com and in the search enter laney. There are quite a few videos of people demonstrating that and other laney amps. It works with most amps and guitars. Have fun.

thanks, but the ones they have are fairly low-quality recordings, so it either sounds really tinny, or rediculously bassy.

You should just check out some Paul Gilbert stuff from his past few albums. He has been using the GH100L for a few years now. I have a Laney LC50-II and i have no complaints at all about it. It does everything that i ask it to and it does it well.

Here is a clip of Paul Gilbert playing through a GH100L. The one he has in the video is a combo version of it which i have never seen offered by Laney but it sounds the same.
