well i just love my v amp 2 from behringer,, ever snce a friend of mine from guitarbattle hooked me on it, and i been using it ever since.. my seting lately is this....
british hi gain for amp
no mid
treble at 4
gain is at 5 to 10.. depends on heaviness of the tune im doing...
bass is at 4
volume half way up
master all way up
flanger effect with effects knob set to 6
reverb is at 4
and my fender american standard strat i been using lately...
thats it...thats tone im using lately till I mess around for more lol
lets here from the rest of the v amp and v amp 2 owners out there for sound ideas if you would like please..
I've been using the British Hi-Gain as well.
Treble and Gain full throtle, mids at less than half and bass just turneddown a little, with a delay peppered for texture

I am happy with my tone right now through the VAmp, so I don't bother with other settings that much.
yeah same here.. there is like cabinet settings and all.. i use to mess with themm,, then i got this setting that i love and i been on this tone kick with it for awhile. granted,, you can really do alot with it.. that's for sure.
There are many more variables than you listed such as room size, presence, spread ...etc. They are a pain to mess with unless you are using the Vamp editor software. I highly suggest getting it from the Behringer site....that way you can down load tons of .vxd patches (and we can swap them here also)
You are going to need a $20 MIDI cable to make it work....but it's worth it.
does the midi cable hook right up to my pc? i never tried that vhfan to be honest with you.. i have meesed around alot with the other settings but as far as the editor and all,,im confusedwith that.. maybe someone can help mee out with that stuff.
