my new amp arrived today - Guitars101

Today I got my Carvin SX200 2x12 100 watt combo amp and all I can say wow.. it's BIG.. currently I don't have an electric guitar (it's arriving the 20th) (fender standard stratocaster, white, maple neck .. i ll let ya know how it is when it arrives) but yeah i got the footswitch and everything with it.. hopefully a big upgrade from my 12 watt practice amp..
anyone own this amp and knows how it sounds with single coils ? hopefully i can pull off some hendrix/srv/clapton tones

$328 amp w/ footswitch + $350 for the strat and deluxe gig bag = $678 both brand new

I once had a go of a Carvin valve combo years ago and it rocked like crazy , very high quality amps indeedy , sounds like you got yourself a real good deal ,

I can't say enough good about carvin's gear after trying some of their stuff. Check out my review in this forum on the MTS I bought
