New Korg AX3000g

eh...and it still only has 8 simultaneous effects. unless it has a better amp modeller, and a better exp pedal, the whole thing isnt much of an improvement. the amp modeller in the old one is ok but, the pedal on the old one is a joke...i hope they improved that thing at least.
it does have a midi out, more memory banks for custom settings, and better audio quality possibly....only differences i see. im stil undecided on getting one.
if you ask me they could have put more into it and made at least a 4-500$ processor and it would have been a beast.

I like the new Digitech GNX3000, 6 Track Digital 24-bit recorder, Drum machine, as well as 40 amp models, 25 cabinet models, and it can record to your comp through USB/MIDI.

I own a 1500G also and I played the 3000 through headphones at one of my stores and I was really impressed. The sound quality is better, more effects, more overdrives, cab simulations, etc. Basically more of everything the AX1500G has and improved tone.

However...

The price is just too high because for just a little more money you could have a Boss GT6 or GT8. Those are far superiour in my opinion.

I didn't much like the pod either. It souded too harsh and stale. The Vox unit is the only one I think is good.
