New PODxt Live

Well I was looking through Full compass catolog and seen a new PODxt Live footcontroller. Now you can get the Podxt and footcontroller in one like a boss gt-6.I don't have a picture or price but I'll give you the description.
"The power of PODxt is now at your feet for pro stage use! With its rugged steel construction, 11 channel select and effect on/off footswitches and built-in wah/volume/tweek pedal, PODxt Live is ready to stand up to years of abuse. Included are 84 pro quality stompbox and studio effects, 36 Amp Models, plus 24 Cab and 4 Mic Models, all built form the award-winning technology found in the Vetta II amp and storable to 128 programmable channels. Unlike the other members of the POD family, PODxt Live also features a Variax digital input so you can cal up a fully customized guitar, amp and effects setup-all by steppin on a single footswitch! USB digital I/O combined with Line 6 Edit sofware allow computer based tone editing and direct digital recording."
There also coming out pedals that are called "ToneCore Pedals". Their is Constrictor, Space Chorus, Crunchtone, Tap tremolo, Echo Park, and Uber Metal.Which is a total of 6.
Now I don't know the prices so yeah just to let you know what Line 6 are coming out with.

Re: New PODxt Live

Thanks Evan, I've seen this mentioned before on the line 6 forum and it boils down to having the podxt + the shortboard. Unless it has sounds that the podxt lacks, I'd prefer to have the bean + board. I don't feel comfortable jumping around on a 600 dollar processor

I just got one last week, and my head is spinning!!! I own a Flextone III XL so I already have a decent amount of amp models. But I wanted more versatility...mainly the stompboxes. I love having a Tubescreamer or a RAT to step on when I want a little boost, and the FBV Shortboard and Flextone just don't do that. On top of getting the XT Live, I also purchased the Metal Shop expansion pack. HOLY CRAP!!! There's some real skull crushers in there for the metal maniacs.
I love the interface with the Line 6 Edit software. Working the XT Live isn't hard, but having it hooked to my computer makes it oodles easier.
I also dl'd the Gearbox software, but haven't gotten any farther with it other than trying out the presets in it.
Overall, I'm floored. I'm becoming a total Line 6 freak. I have POD XT Live, the Flextone III, and the Variax 300.
Being able to control and power the Variax with the XT Live was another reason for me purchasing it. I wasn't really happy with the Variax until I started tweaking the neck and adjusting the action. I found that if you set the neck arrow straight (and use a straightedge for this), you can get a really decent setup....loads better than from the factory. I tried shimming the neck but that project didn't go very well.

yes i had the variax 300 and returned it, though just because i will wait and get the model with the strat neck...but i too am floored by this floor board!.....Line 6 i think has the advantage and from what ive seen the only one that has never been on sale since its release....and they still fly off the shelf

I picked up this case, now ive lightened my load for rehersals by 50 lbs.......at $60.00 not cheap but high quality...as all Line 6 items are from what ive seen
