pod pro or 2.0??

Is it worth the extra money for the pro to get the spdif interface for recording directly to digital? NO line input=less noise, or get vamp 2.0 and a quality soundcard and use the analog ins. The reason I ask is it seems redundant to convert your signal from analog to digital then back to analog then back to digital again.

The V-amp2 suites me fine...if i were to invest any more dollars...I would get the POD XT and go USB interface to PC...I have them both and each are unique instruments in themselves...good luck man [img]images/smilies/smile.gif[/img]

i have the v amp 2 and love it.. i tried out the pro and it sounded about same to me for the effects as to my v amp 2. now,, in the future i will get a pod xt or a 2.0,, just to have more features. but i do recommend the v amp 2 .. for the 140 dollars i spent,, it's the best bang fopr your buck in my opinin that is ee so far. 3fingers recommended it to me and im pleased to have one as well.

well i want a pod but im waiting for it to go down in price still way too much for my pocket to lend as of now.. I am happy with my v amp and i truly have to say its hard to find a bad sound out of this unit.
