I plan on getting rid of my xt and getting the new one.....I'd like to have the bass and vocal options...sounds cool...of course Line 6 could crap on a plate and i'd prob think its cool
check out the forrums at line6 and you will see a few things people don't like about the pod3 before you spend $500 on one. some are complaining about the plastic. (not an issue for me) latency? if you are planning to use it live there can not be latency. you can not drop out for a half second when you are playing live. big issue and the fix still isn't out yet and its past oct 12. the eitor is not going to be out untill january? (or feb, march etc) then the pod3 should not be out untill january. sorry but i use the ones you can download from customtone all the time and without editing software this thing is not something i would want now. when the bugs are fixed and the editor works fine (unlike the one for the pocketpod that only works with a select few from customtone and yes i'm downloading the ones for the pod 2.0. they know of the issue, admit it doesn't work right and are working on a fix) then i may check one out but for now i'll save my money and hope that a v-amp3 becomes a reality. i own a toneport and a pocket pod. i use a v-amp2, and a v-ampire lx112combo. i'll wait for the v-amp3
i have the podxt, have been looking at the x3 and was impressed by some of the sounds, but im also looking at the vox tonelab le...digital modeler with a tube. some of the samples are amazing.
no software for the x3 until january is offputting to say the least.
I/m kinda content with my pod xt live that I ahve and my 2.0 with the 2.3 upgrade that i still have. I'd like to try out the new X3,, but my luck id walk out with one cause I do love Line 6's gear. I even have the Spider III 75. You really cant go wrong with Line 6 gear,, of course,, any one that plays guitar knows that anyhow lol.
