Geez im gonna have to pick up a vamp next week at this rate, so many patches! I saw that there was a evh one, how does it sound??

Can anyone vouch for the vamp? Im tempted to get it but i have a rp80 right now and seem to get alot of fuzz/static while on the dirty channel, anyone know why, and do you turn on these patches on a clean channel or let it blend with the natural distortion?

With a Guitar Processor you should use the clean channel on the amp. Distortion patches are too overdriven when ran through a Dirty Channel on the amp. These are my experiences anyhow. Can anyone back me up on that?

Question

widecircles

I was reviewing a few viral marketing service and came accross something pretty intresting called WideCircles. They seem to work by sending viral messages to various websites like forums, blogs, wiki's and so on. My friend signed up for the account the other day after running a small but successful campaign ( targeting very specific niche ) and told me about it. It seems like a nice idea to gather highly relevant traffic and help with the SEO process at the same time while paying very small amount of money compared to pay per click. In any case, I am going to give them a try today. In case you are intrested here is the site. widecircles.com?imt=3

I've got a Boss Dr880 that has some amp modeler capability in it based on the GT-6 or GT-8 I think. I'm looking for some more specific amp settings ... but I will probably just need to set the T-M-B-V etc myself. Does anyone know where a list of some more of these exists.

I for one think these boxes get "in the neighborhood" and are great for practice and maybe recording.
