Haven't made a clip in a while and was bored over here so i figured i would slap together a wacky collage of different sound bites just for fun. It's just me doodling. Let me know what you think of this tone. Thanks and enjoy! Clip1 Clip2
What gear are you using: guitar, amp and effects?
If nothing else, what kinda amp is that?
Thanks Zoso. I used my 5150 combo/Marshall cab with Greenbacks setup. The guitar is a Kramer Striker with a Seymour Duncan 59 in the bridge. For effects i just used the Cakewalk recording software plugins. It's a standard 255 millisecond delay with one repeat and a plate reverb setting that i made.
Fantastic tone and technique! I have played those 5150s before, and I didnt spend enough time with them to get the results you get. One of the tube amps I have is a 1985 Peavey Butcher I bought in '86 and is the forerunner of the 5150 series (actually, its more of a Marshall super lead 100 with 6L6 tubes). I get a similar tone from it, but no FX loop :-(.
How bout those SD 59s? I have a Jackson with a pair of SD SH6s and it rox.
man you're set up sounds great. I finally got a chance to try the JSX combo, and I was really disappointed, your 5150 set up sounds waaaaaaaaay better.

Thanks man! Yeah if you work with this thing you can get some awesome tones out of it. The 59 is a great sounding PAF style pickup in my opinion.
