What's wrong with my amp?

I've had my Crate GT1200H for about four years now. It's a solid state half-stack amp.

One day the sound started to get weak and distant. It was playing about one tenth as loud as it should have been. Then it stopped producing noise at all. I've noticed that the head heats up very quickly. I almost burned my fingers on the music cable that connects to the cab.

The head still lights up when I turn it on, and it definitely has no trouble heating up...

Has anyone else ever experienced this, or know what the problem is?
