Hi all,

Saying as we are just 15 days from the big Premiership kick off i thought i'd start a thread where we could discuss the upcoming season.

Until the kick off though i would like to know your aspirations for your team this year. Are you happy with their signings? Can anyone beat chelsea this year even with a three point handicap?

I am a long suffering Newcastle season ticket holder. I am very happy with the one signing we have made but am getting very worried about the lack of strikers being signed and we are running out of time.

Personally i think Chelseas biggest threat this season will be from the Arsenal. Man U dont look too good to me right now but i may be proven wrong.

I'm also a long time Toon Army fan and am too pleased with the relatively cheap signing of Duff. But yeah, a couple strikers would be first on my list. But i trust Glenn... there's a vibe about the Toon lately which gives me a good feeling.

We won't be challenging fo the title but i think we'll be up there fighting for a champions league spot. We just need a top striker brought in to stick away Duff's crosses lol.

This Season I Think Will See Chelsea Win The Title Again , It Will Also See Middlesborough In A Relegation Battle With Newcastle . I Can See Wigan Going Down .Manchester United Will Finish 2nd , Arsenal Then Aston Villa . Liverpool Will Flop .
Sunderland Will Finish Mid Table And Coventry City Will Go Up As Will Preston North End .

Positive as always ... Newcastle in relegation scrap ?... good god no. . We're the big boys my lad. We would have finished in 3rd overall had Roeders record been carried on an entire season.

Villa, Villa, Villa...please dont let them have a good season, my lads are Villa supporters and are giving me grief as I said they would go down this season, I'm obviously a top judge of footy teams my team is.....Derby OK but when I was young they were a top team and I'm sticking by them forever, long live Bruce Rioch
