well,here we(Pittsburgh Penguins) go again.last year ended not the way i wanted but it was a fun year.this year on the other hand had ups & downs.1st the Pens started off well ,but the injuries caught up with them & soon fell out of the playoff race.then mike(the head coach ) gets the axe& the pens get healthy and some good pickups during the trade deadline like Kunitz&Guerin! then the Pens start on a great run to end up 4th over all in the east. Malkin wins the Art Ross,which is great because he beat that goofy looking ovechkin!Crosby played solid.Fleury came on strong on the run to make the playoffs.now the playoffs.the Pittsburgh Penguins play the Filthadelphia flyers in the 1st round.the pens have home ice.i think that will help the Pens because this will be a tough series.2 things worry me about this series,1 our head coach Dan Bylsma,he has no playoff experience as a head coach& 2 our powerplay is at best up&down!also i hope Malkin does'nt disapear like last years playoffs!i think the Pens will win the series in 7.GO PENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PENS(1-0)i think i might have overrated the flyers.the PENS looked GREAT!Malkin&Crosby scored which was nice.the PENS were the better team through the whole game.i think this series might be done in 5.GO PENS!

PENS(2-0)what a game lastnight!Fleury looked great!how about that toe save he made!Billy Guerin scored the game winning goal in ot.Guerin had 2 goals&Malkin got another one too!the Pens D is looking strong so far.now onto Filthadelphia,GO PENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!

PENS(2-1)i can't blame this whole game on the flower,but he gave up to many rebounds& easy goals.the D did'nt help him either.the flyers were desperate for a win so they played like it.the Pens still have a 2 to 1 lead in the series.how about that hit Kunitz gave tieuman!Malkin got 2 more goals!if the PENS win the next game this series will be over in Pittsburgh,but if the flyers win this will be a long series.GO PENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PENS(3-1)The Flower was a wall last night!45 saves!i think this might be his best game he played.Crosby with a gritty goal .thats what makes Crosby so great he will make the pretty goals& thetough ones too!the Pens seemed off last night in the win,but they had the FLOWER to shut down the flyers.i think this series is OVER!i can't see the flyers winning 3 games in a row. back to Pittsburgh for game 5.GO PENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!

PENS(3-2)i'm starting to get nervous about this series.biron shut the PENS out last night,it's hard to believe it.not to get away from the game ,but FSN Pittsburgh S-U-C-K-S!!!!!!!!!!!!!the whole 2nd period fades to black & i'm not talking about the Metallica song.so i have to turn off the Nirvana show i had on (9-21-1991)because i never listen to the Pens commentary of paul steigerwald.he replaced the REAL Pittsburgh Penguins voice MIKE LANG!!!!!!which he is on the radio now.i miss Lang doing the tv games.well i turn off Nirvana to hear the game &it was nice to hear Mike's voice.even though the Pens played bad hockey last night.the powerplay stinks!!!!!!!!our wingers on lines 1&2 r not scoring on even strength.Flower is playing good overall in the series,but Gonchar needs to pick up his game soon or the Pens will be out in the 1st round! now to Filthadelphia for game 6.it would be nice for the PENS to close the series out on sat.because i think if the PENS lose sat. game ,game 7 the PENS will be playing nervous hocky &that is not good.GO PENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PENS(4-2)YES!Crosby with the emty net goal to put a dagger in the hearts of the flyers!what a comeback by the PENGUINS!down 3-0 in the 2nd period at philly ,then Talbot uses his face as a punching bag& the PENS get hot with 3 goals in the 2nd period & two more in the 3rd.Malkin played solid!Gonchar scored a BIG goal!the Flower made BIG saves when he had to.i also likedthe play of Scuderi!it was GREAT to see the handshake at center ice at Filthadelphia!!!!!!HEE-HEE-HEE!now for round 2,don't know who we will be playing but it looks like newjersey.GO PENGUINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Round 2 Bring on the capitols & that goofy lookin' ovechkin!i think the Pens will make the goalie of the capitols look like swiss cheese.ovechkin will see the REAL MVP of this season ((((MALKIN))))!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PENS in 6!GO PENGUINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Round 2(0-1)Pens lose the first game of the series.it looked good at the start of the game with Crosby's goal & how the Pens were flying in the first half of the 1st period!then the capitols score 2 to take the lead.the Pens tie the game later but Fluery gives up a bad goal.the capitols goalie made a great save on Crosby which might have turn the game for them.if the Pens take 1 at washington thats ok for me.GO PENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Round2(0-2)this will be a short series if somebody besides Crosby does'nt score!KNOCK,KNOCK are u there Malkin?try to shoot that little round black thing at the net!our wingers BLOW!after kunitz had his baby he can't score.Guerin needs to score.they need to score a goal or two .Staal u need to score as well!Gonchar having a bad series,i think he is playing to much.Crosby is having a great series ,but so is ovechkin.i can't believe this rookie goalie will beat the Pens.Penguins need to win the next game or it's all over!GO PENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Round2(1-2)this was a nice win for the Pens.down 1goal early by ovechkin goal .how don't Fleury know his home boards????????well the Pens get one back in the 2nd period from Fedotenko,YES FEDOTENKO!the 3rd period was all Malkin!he had a solid game overall!then somehow the capitols get a goal with a min. to go.this was a good sign ,when the Pens got the gamewinning goal in overtime!!!!!!it shows they did'nt get to down with that late goal in the 3rd.Fluery needs to steal a game or two!tommorrow night would be nice to start!!!!!!!!still our wingers need to score more,same with Stahl!!!!!!!!!!!i think whoever wins the next game will win the series.GO PENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Round2(2-2)Big win for the Pens!let me get this out of the way,that was a dirty hit by ovechkin on Gonchar.if the Penguins want to get even ,do it early in the game!Gonchar might miss the rest of the series,just when he was starting to score!big goal from Guerin.i think the Pens are starting to find how to beat that rookie goalie!Fluery played ok,he had only 22 shots to face.that means are D was playing Great.Talbot is a nice fit on the 2nd line with Malkin!Fluery needs to steal this game for the Pens!!!!!!!!GO PENGUINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Round2(3-2)Malkin is BAAAAAAAAACK!shoot the puck at the net & good things happen&thats what Malkin did to win in overtime!the Pens did get back at ovechkin by winning at the capitols home ice to take a 3-2 lead to Pittsburgh!!!!!!!!!!!(HEE-HEE-HEE)Staal scores,i hope more to come.how about Fedotenko scoreing again,he's on fire!Crosby played solid like always.Fleury needs to play better!he played ok in lastnight game,but like i said before he needs to steal a game all by himself so the score won't be so close.i think the Pens are making that goalie look what he is & that is a rookie goalie!i don't see the capitols coming back to win the series.like i said at the start of the series Pens in 6!GO PENGUINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Round2(3-3)AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!this is a hard pill to swallow.the Pens had a chance to put the capitols away,but lose in overtime.the first period was all Pens,but they only scored 1 freakin' goal!then the caps get two in the 2nd,but late Mark Eaton scores a HUGE goal to end the period.the powerplay S*CKS!!!!!!!!!!!!the 3rd period goes back & fourth.Crosby gets a late goal in the 3rd period to go in overtime & u know what happens next.well i don't blame the overtime goal on Fluery,but in this series he has not stood on his head at all!just lookat the total shots on goal the Pens are far ahead of the caps.Fluery NEEDS to steal this game for the Pens to move on in the playoffs!GO PENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Round2(4-3)HELL YEAAAAAAAAAAH!it's all over for the caps!what a game.Fluery makes a G-R-E-A-T save on ovechkin to start of the first period!then Crosby scores on the powerplay,yes i said we scored on the powerplay.howabout Adams scoreing too!Pens up 2-0 at the end of the 1stperiod!!!!!then comes more of the same,Guerin scores from Crosby,&less than 2:00mins Letang sticks the puck in the back of the net,i mean he really stuck the puck in the back of the net to make it 4-0 PENS!the Pens broke the back of varlamove finally!!!!now i know whatpaul simon meant when he wrote the song sound of silence.thats how the building was when theodore came into the net.HEE-HEE-HEE!!!!!still more fun to come!Staal puts 1 in too!to make it 5-0 PENS!ovechkin gets a ugly goal late in the 2nd,to make it 5-1.how about ovechkin trying to hit Malkin,but crushes his own teammate!HAA-HAA-HAA!!!!!!!!!!!more fun to come on the pens powerplay ovechkin turns the puck over on the offensiveside of the caps to Crosby,& of goes Sid on a breakaway to make it 6-1 PENS!caps get another ugly goal to end the game 6-2 PENGUINS!Crosby was the number1 star lastnight ,&the WHOLE SERIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i'm hoping to see the huricanes to win so the PENS will get home ice!WAY TO GO PENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
